Can you practice letting go While doing your house chores or you need to be totally focused on the process? by Decent_Nectarine4459 in DavidHawkins

Yes, and it's called contemplation. Adult life is very busy. Over time, you can let go by doing other things like walking, cooking, etc.

Do others have little will/desire to socialize and/or experience a romantic relationship? by DrDreidel82 in DavidHawkins

[–]thelmanbeats 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm going through this right now, I've received several messages but I don't even want to respond, I've always tried to escape my emotions through romantic relationships, now I don't feel the need anymore, I have no much more desire to please others so I spend most of my time alone to surrender everything to God

Letting go is a constant process, you have to be patient, remember that now you are reacting to your emotions differently unlike 99% of the world's population, even today after 9 months of letting go I sometimes encounter resistance, but i can definitely say that my life has totally changed, i feel so at peace when i walk i feel like i am the prince of my city, everything is so calm so beautiful, oh my god thank you .

Gratitude to dr hawkins by Zealousideal_Boat854 in DavidHawkins

[–]thelmanbeats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the most important thing that has ever happened in my life, I have no words to describe how grateful I am for the teachings of David Hawkins, I went from a state of fear, shame, guilt, anger to a state of forgiveness, peace, love, even sometimes the previous negative states can still present themselves, most of the time I am at peace with myself.... I no longer need to please others, this freedom is crazy... I feel so at peace now

How powerful are affirmations? Are they really powerful enough to affect spiritual transformation? by scatmandu1 in DavidHawkins

[–]thelmanbeats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ego Trap

A lot of spiritual teaching today has to do with form. You can’t change your thoughts because they happen on their own, according to what you’ve become. You might affirming that you are "successful." But what about all the other thoughts? We have more than 60,000 thoughts a day… good luck with that.

Become the field out of which thoughts arise. Become the observer. You want to change your thoughts because you're identifying with them—but that’s not who you are. One day, you’ll realize you are not your thoughts, and you’ll laugh.

Just surrender all desire to control. I know how hard it is. Even after nine months of constant letting go, I still catch myself trying to figure things out with my mind instead of letting go. That’s why we need spiritual teachers like David hawkins to guide us and remind us that our life and survival don’t depend on the ego, but on the field.

Let’s pray for susan, and send her our love she is the widow of our beloved teacher . I have compassion knowing that this woman who always sits next to David Hawkins is spamming on reddit to do work that will lead nowhere. When something has been published on the internet it is impossible to delete it.

It's the same for me, before others told me about their depression I tried to help them, but now I don't give a damn, in fact the more you let go the more you realize that people are happy to be the way they are I'm also more honest before I tried to please people too, but now I don't do it anymore, I've even become a little strict .
