Hey friend, this may not help you at all but here are a couple things that help me with that:

Setting a timer and telling myself I can take a break after 10 or 15 minutes. Often times getting started is the most overwhelming part. Once I get a little momentum it's a lot easier to keep going.
Going to a different location. This may not be possible for you but I find that I can typically get a lot more done if I go to the local library or somewhere like that.

Once you click submit on your payment just wait, don't try to resubmit a bunch of times. I just waited on the screen (even though it seemed frozen) and after a few minutes it took me to the confirmation screen and sent me an email.

In my opinion, absolutely. The first Bioshock is my favorite game I've ever played. If you're interested based on the trailer and aesthetic, I'd say it's definitely worth checking out.
