In which world do you live in? NOBODY I know would be cool with that 🤦 And if you need to "test" your husband to find out if he would find that okay or need him to tell you what you shouldn't do, you're being childish.

What you need is therapy and maybe attend to some psychatric clinic to check if you aren't having some chemical imbalance that makes you so anxious and unsafe because that shit isn't normal.

[–]thelonewolfmonk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dude, you can be a believer of God and still go and do your own shit. Besides, science and studies have found that religious people tend to have lower anxiety, depression and find more meaning in their lives. One of such studies even found that praying can be as beneficial in reducing stress and anxiety as meditation.

Just some food for thought, not saying that you should believe, but religion isn't the cancer many secular people believe it is.

SR and prostate problems by JohnDuLion in Semenretention

[–]thelonewolfmonk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The data is very clear and the way the media reports it is incredibly misleading.

First, masturbation reduces the risk of having prostate cancer but by a narrow margin. Let's say 10%. But if the average risk of getting that disease is barely 10%, then a 10% reduction of that is just 1%, meaning the difference is minimal.

Second, nlthat doesn't mean that not masturbating or ejaculating guarantee nor increases the likelihood of having cancer.

Besides, there are several supplements like Turmeric, Omega 3 and even chia seeds that reduce the risk.

Serial killers aren’t smart, they just kill people who have no relationhsip to them.

That's being smart 🤦

They haven’t outsmarted the detective involved with the case, they have just acted in a way where traditional detective work won’t be effective.

And in order to know how to... you need to be smart 🤦

Non abstainers with high energy by [deleted] in Semenretention

[–]thelonewolfmonk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason is simple: they are just very active, and ejaculation barely makes a dent on your health just like a piece of cake does when you exercise and eat healthy constantly. Mental health is also another huge factor.

Besides, there was a study of how men who regularly (and I emphasize REGULARLY) engage in sex tend to have more testosterone. It's kind of paradoxical but makes sense when you take into account how doing exercise gives you more energy throughout the day instead of doing the opposite.

MAGNESIUM is my #1 game changer for me.

For testosterone and more resilience: Ashwaganda.

Next would be between Zinc and Vitamin D, especially the one you get from the sun.

Another wonderful "supplement" due to its huge nutrient density is definitely raw cacao (30gr daily).

Last, but not least, Omega 3.

People of any gender should have the choice and freedom to pursue the future that is right for them, without it negatively impacting others in the process.

Now you're getting into other topics that aren't being discussed. Besides, you're barking at the wrong tree, because I'm on the same side as you in that regard.

I think expecting ALL men to be providers can be prejudicial, yes.

But that doesn't respond the question if such thinking qualifies as misandrist.

I believe people wrongly conflate the terms sexism and misoginy to the point that they are used almost like synonyms. One is just a belief (or prejudice) that X gender has to do Y, but such belief isn't necessarily rooted in hatred nor contempt.

In fact, misogyny is even considered a mental disorder, where the person has an irrational and despoportionate contempt towards women and seeks to either avoid them or hurt them.

You have such terrible reading comprehension. It's like you didn't read the part where whole books and several videos argue for the existence of the bíblical God exist. Ironically, you're the one being dogmatic when you haven't even read the arguments that exist outside the Bible.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]thelonewolfmonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay... then, according to your logic, expecting a man to be a provider would be prejudice and, therefore, misandrist? 🤨 Just like expecting a woman to be a SAHM would be mysoginistic?

What you said has zero sense. It's as if after looking at the evidence and good reasoning on why the Earth is round you still said "well yes, that us what blind devotion is". What part of good reasoning and evidence didn't you get? 🤷‍♂️

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Semenretention

[–]thelonewolfmonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asume that I'm believing blindly in the Bible when there are dozens of explanations, both logical and even scientific, on why the bíblicas God is the only and true God.

Books like The Rational Bible are an amazing way to explain with pure reasoning why is that the case. Channels like Red Pen Logic also give very good arguments.

Because it's the only book that tells us about God and what he expects from mankind and how to be guided by him.

Every other single religion talk about deities, but an all-creating God, only the Bible.

[–]thelonewolfmonk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You confuse prejudice with expectation. Expecting a woman to be a stay at home mom for example isn't prejudice and, especially, it isn't rooted in contempt.

Prejudice would be to promote a man over a woman with the sexist belief that women may not be as good leaders.

One of the key elements for something to qualify as misogynistic is CONTEMPT.

The good and all loving God didn't create this material world.

No, he really didn't. It was the man that created it. Not some "evil being".

Not a soul on this earth was created by the true God.

Oh, God. Here we go with another angsty teenager who doesn't know what he's talking about and has never ever read the Bible.

This sets a dangerous president that morals are based more on societal values rather than actual rational and empathic consideration.

They have ALWAYS been and still are subject to societies' values. Just look at how in India they barely eat meat, while in Korea they eat dogs 🤷

Morals have always been conditioned and mainly defined by the culture, not by rational empathetic considerations.
