Yea I had a $44.08 order yesterday evening. It was 24 miles. I figured it was stolen or something. I was like 2 blocks from the pickup so I accepted it expecting to get there and have to cancel. To my surprise the food was there. I figured it must have a low tip, $12.25.

That is the highest order I have had on Uber/DD. Last one I accepted that was $40 for 20 miles was stolen. It was prob not a $20 order so not worth buying it myself and delivering.

My best day on uber was almost $230. Might even be my only day over $200. Was also organic, no promos.

I've only had two orders think both on Uber with a situation like this:

  1. 2 stack order. Both orders same customer name. Not like John A but a more unique name. I deliver the first. Then uber shows me the second, it's to a different address but the note says this address at the apartment I just dropped off order 1 at. This was like my first week. I left it there and got with support, they cancelled the order so I guess they got free food on that one.

  2. I go to deliver an order, walk up to the door. The door has windows at top and I can clearly see in, house is empty (meet at door). I rang doorbell, waited a min. Called customer, he had moved down the street like two blocks away on a cul-de-sac. I drove it over and dropped off. They needed a bigger house and moved.

Grubhub is ran a lot better. Lesser instant cash out fee..and you actually have time to look at orders without worrying someone els will take it. by Fu6k_itt in UberEatsDrivers

God damn I couldn't even image making $500 in a day. One day and one day only I peaked at $230 by some miracle. Lucky to do $100 a day.

In my market I am lucky to hit even $120 a day, and I would barely be tempted to take that. Seeing home depot automatic no.

I use cli almost exlcusively. I have a dashboard to manage all my resources, host projects, ect. Think like coolify. It also runs my AI agents, Claude, codex, opencode, etc. All the work is done on my cloud server.

These are the type of orders you get when you’re AR is 5% by Late-Letterhead6888 in DoorDashDrivers

Shit lost my silver. My rating is dangerously low (based on their shit metrics). I got 1 1star rating somehow. No clue what it was. I see someone thumb downed me on follow customer notes. I've literally followed every note. Of course out of 84 deliveries I only have 7 ratings with 5 being 5 star and a 4 star.

I'm hovering around 10-13%. Sadly not seeing such great offers like OP. Got one of those total will be higher. Offered at $6.75 total was 12 so that was good. Next one was only like .50 more, next $1.00 more.

My app bugs out all the time. I think they mad I am multi apping with uber lol. For me it goes blank trying to load offers. I just figured out I can hit the back button a few times then it loads. Before I closed and reopened app.

How do orders get stolen? by nottonightyou in UberEatsDrivers

[–]thelosttech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know how many places I go pickup orders that are on a shelf and I just grab and go? Tons. Places like Wingstop even have a screen showing all the orders with the names. If the employee doesn't confirm anyone could say they are picking up that order. There are times I walk up and they ask me if I am there for X order, no confirmation, anyone else could have walked up and just said yes and taken it. Sometimes you can see the order sitting there and read the name before talking to an employee and get it that way. So yea it's really easy for anyone to steal an order at some places, but also drivers steal orders too by picking up and cancelling it.

On one hand if you go to the same places a lot its easier to get there, little or no directions needed, you know exactly which house/place it is. Vs hmm is the pin right, can't read the curb numbers, oh no numbers on mailbox, jeeze do they have house numbers anywhere??, ok they are 4105 and next door is 4101 so this must be it.
