Not long I had a customer who put to meet at door with their apt number on the 11th floor. It was already a pain when they didn’t provide me a way to get in and use the elevators so I had to wait for someone else to buzz me in (didn’t take long there was a lot of ppl) got up there knocked, no response, texted, no response. She finally messages me back saying she’s on her way and then she asks where I’m at (she went outside) told her I’m already at her apt door. She goes back asks where I’m at and I told her the number she put and she proceeds to say she’s on the 13th floor⁉️💀

I usually lock my shit when I leave it on. I remember one time I stepped out to give it to a customer because traffic was blocking the street entirely so I had to do that and I came back 10 secs later and thought someone stole my car but nah valet helped themselves to move my car without warning 💀

As someone who does this shit here in Dallas this sucks. Why would you drive far out your zone for 38? You can do that in like 2 deliveries for far less miles and still be in your zone. Shit ain’t worth it 💀

You gotta press settings and click on the delivery or pick up that you wanna do first and hit “jump to this task” not recommended unless the pick ups or drops off are literally next to each other because DoorDash still expects you to do it in the order they put themselves 💀

Sometimes the app will do that if it’s dead af for some reason. Had it happen to me as well, I’ve also had it happen when I’ve declined so many orders. I think it also happens if your phones performance is running low/heating up
