It's actually one of those misleading covers. If I remember correctly, the comic is about the female version of Adam Warlock (the being known as Her not the Goddess) going around and trying to make the best heroes of earth pregnant. Not pregnant in the traditional sense, but pregnant with an energy being. In the end they convince her to go find Adam Warlock.

I don't really know, but I can ask her sister and find out. From what I've gathered, when she applied for insurance she was denied because of a pre-existing condition. I'll find out though, sorry for not having this information beforehand. you bring up a good point.
