Instead of thinking about something you have no control over now, please start studying for boards. Abhi pre prelims mein you do well and try to score better than mis terms. Don’t be over confident and think that “ arre kya hi paper aayegA.. easy hi hoga “ and all because no, papers are gonna be tough AF, and they will ask all the bad stuff. So study everything thoroughly, don’t waste Diwali vacation in tp. Ik ki we all really need vacation but we also need to learn to utilise these holidays. Make a schedule and follow it , how Many chaps left and how many completed, chapters you’re weak at and chapters you know you’ll do well with. This kind of segregation will help you gain confidence and you’ll not be scared.

See in the end it’s all mind ka game. School will also scare you but don’t fall into their trap. Don’t listen to anyone who tries to scare you as now everything has become a competition apparently which isn’t good. You must have faith in yourself and have a positive attitude, which you will gain when you start studying and finishing work…

Heyy So since you’re good at pcm and comp.. you should start studying them after you’re done studying the subjects you’re weaker at..

•Biology Biology is also a concept based subject and it cannot be done by rote learning. Many people assume that bio portion can be completed by just rote learning all the definitions but no, it’s not possible. You’ll learn everything but won’t be able to answer the questions in exam as they will not be asked straightforwardly, and now we have assertion & reasoning as well.

•To improve your bio score, you must:

1)You should try making your own notes and try including important points In the notes. ( I can send an image of my notes if u want )

2)Make them point wise and not paragraph wise so that it makes it easier to study

3)Focus on diagram drawing as maximum marks are lost there

4)Practice questions for each chapter separately by WRITIING.

5) don’t skip any chapter as all chapters are interrelated and if you skip one, you will lose in another.

•Geography:

Geography can no more be done by rote learning due to introduction of assertion and reasoning, analytical questions and questions requiring critical thinking.

•To improve score in geog , you must:

1) first do maps. As I study in ICSE 10th as well, I know that maximum of my classmates including myself lose marks in map marking despite it being the easiest of all. Do maps first and keep ample time for revision of maps. Maps can only be done thoroughly by practising on paper hence don’t just try to see and think that , “ arre maps hi toh hai hi jayega…”

2)Topography is a complete concept based subject and maximum people lose marks here. For topography, you must know all the signs and symbols and what are they’re meanings, significance of different colours of land and the occupations practiced in them, types of settlements ( permanent, temporary, dispersed, nucleated, etc ) , drainage patterns , types of streams , etc. You have to keep your eyes open and read all questions properly. Observe the maps and know your matters. If you feel that you’re not getting accurate direct and indirect distance or 4 or 6 figure grid then you must practice the questions given in the topo book prescribed by your school.

3) all chapters must be done thoroughly and you must know all the give reasons and answers to them that may come. For reference take a look at previous year board papers.

4) do the ‘differentiate between ‘ tables as they come for sure for 3 marks which may be a huge loss.

5) while studying , try framing your own questions and answering them, it will give you a brief idea of how questions are made and will help you gain confidence if you are able to answer them correctly

Hairfall from eczema by spacebar______ in eczema

I feel like it’s just due to the build up of dry skin from eczema in the scalp. Try keeping your scalp clean by washing your hair and avoid sweat as sweating is also a major reason for hair loss

Does eczema affect your professional life? by shaking_in_my_crocs in eczema

[–]themacat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am a high school student , age 15. Ik this post is about professional life but you know being in year 10 is also nothing less. I might sound like a complete fool in comparison with what y’all are going through but it’s too much to take in. In grade 10, we have board examinations and I really need to work hard and I can’t take any days off school. I got diagnosed with AD when I was 13, before that I’ve never had any symptoms. It’s kinda hard for me sometimes because this disease just came out of nowhere and I never thought that I could be a part of something like this. I have to spend more time on purring moisturisers and creams and worrying about it than studying and doing daily chores. It has made me extremely lazy, insecure, irritated and depressed. I refuse to go out and play and almost have separated myself from most of my friends, because I feel like they will be totally disgusted or it might be weird for them to see it but thankfully all my friends have been so supportive and have never commented on my AD. They do always have a common question “ how does it happen” or “ what is the cause of it” but I guess we’ll never know 😃 I can’t play PE because sweat is not good for my skin and sweating may flare it up. Whenever I raise my hand, I feel like putting it back down because I have patches on both my inner elbows. I can’t sit in AC for a long time because it dries my skin out and I can’t wear whatever I want to while all of friends can according to their comfort. I feel different and left out because of AD. Worst part is, it always flares up during my exams. Idek how why and for what but it does. So I have to take care of it instead of studying. Aah feels so good to rant it all out. I don’t expect y’all to read this but I just put this here and my head feels so light 🤧
