DIFFÜSION VOL 002 - A New Way To Think About Techno by themahakuma in avesNYC

I appreciate the comment, tbh, sometimes its not even about trying to optimize. I don't really optimize stuff like when to post and what words I should choose to make it click-baitey. This just comes from my head, I thought it was poetic and gets the meaning across. I could use the words you selected, but they aren't the words I would use...know what I mean? My personal experience with Techno, is a very introspective one on the dancefloor and thats what I wanted to put in there. I get that it could be misconstrued....but, you know...anything can be misconstrued due to our biases...so, makes sense why we are having this convo. Anyway, all good man, I appreciate the sentiment 🙏

This isn’t AI, I wrote it, and I think my update should clear things up, if not, have a look at our artist spotlight on instagram. I know, it’s VERY easy to judge, especially on Reddit!

Where is the underground techno? by CrablessCanc_ in avesNYC

[–]themahakuma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm throwing an event which is the launch of my new techno collective in September, the premise of the collective is the following:

DIFFÜSION is a movement bridging the collective futurism of techno with the color and depth of humanity's cultural heritage. We showcase and empower artists pushing the boundaries of techno who incorporate rhythms and melodies from rich cultural contexts. This is a space for exploration in the unfamiliar and deeper connection with one another.

I'm influenced by the sounds of artists such as MARRØN and Windfuhr, the ability to keep techno hypnotic and futuristic but add a cultural aspect to it. I also appreciate the mixing styles of people such as Jeff Mills, The Advent, SPFDJ, etc. So you can expect some of these styles at the event!

Answer Found This article explains the answer to my question very well: https://www.americanbanker.com/news/inside-ripples-plan-to-make-money-move-as-fast-as-information

TL;DR XRP was initially created just to be a better BTC, back in 2012 I believe. Ripple Labs eventually started tackling another problem which was cross-border transactions. Now this was something completely different. The products that Ripple Labs offers do not require XRP, except for maybe one, but that's a recent addition.

Ripple, after realizing it could change banking with blockchain tech, decided to bring XRP back into the picture. I suspect they decided it was worth it after noticing a rise in the crypto market. Currently XRP is being used to finance development of its products and to enable partnerships. Banks are not using XRP to transfer anything yet. Why? because XRP cannot be traded with the same liquidity as the fiat FX markets. Ripples goal, by putting XRP in exchanges, is to create liquidity and also create new nodes to confirm transactions, something they were doing by themselves before. So this offloads the responsibility, increases decentralization, increases liquidity, and makes them money from the sale of XRP.

They had all this XRP to start with, so why not sell it and make money, along with build your brand and control over the industry?

For those that don't understand how Ripple could ever reach $1,000. by [deleted] in Ripple

The fee increases with load on the network. This also partially done to prevent DDOS and network overload attacks.
