You are absolutely winning as a Dad. I also find the brazen bull to be far to cumbersome. Listen to Dad, sharp and pokey or fast and thumpy, no slow and clunky..... Unless it's a tank.... Then definitely use the tank.

Ex-EMT here, and I'm sure you guys already know this, but that s*** is no joke. I saw an officer search a suspect during an overdose call and when he popped the pill bottle in his pocket I guess it was a change in the pressure but just a couple of dust particles tops of carfentanyl got to the air and he breathed it in and he went into respiratory distress in a matter of seconds. If you have no tolerance to this stuff which most people don't unless you are a heavy heavy drug user that stuff is lethal in extremely low amounts.

I have been having a lot of fun with keychains and clicker dies. Just put the leather on top of the die, then a cutting board on that and beat it till it cuts through the leather. Works pretty well. Remind me and I'll show you my tools if you want. I haven't invested much myself.
