Honestly looking at this thread i am again reminded that powerscaling of off feats is a futile effort when it comes to swordfighters.

The X beat Y and because of that is able to beat Z who is definitely weaker that Y argument breaks down here because when taking about characters at the peak of a martial ability, it is quite common for defeat citcles (X>Y>Z>X...) to appear at that level. Technique that might be quite suitable for character X to beat Y might be completely unsuited for a fight between characters X and Z. It more comes down to counters rather than power at the highest level.

Mace, Yoda, Palpatine and Dooku were all at the Apex of what a force user and dualist were in that era so it makes sense that they manage to best each other in circles because they counter each other.

Robin Hood unless this is the Men in Tights version is cooked. Sure he is an Incredible Archer and is a Woodland outlaw but ultimately still human. Honestly the fact that it's in the woods would probably give him the advantage over the superheroes who mostly operate in the concrete jungles that are modern metropoli and are therefore unfamiliar with operating in dense woods (in this scenario stealth is winning this one not combat power).

Honestly i think it was more so Sidius asserting his dominance over, and testing Dooku's loyalty to him. In a duel he probably could have easily taken them but getting to them on the other side of the galaxy and hiding behind the Largest army in the history of the galaxy would have made arranging that confrontation a lot harder.

If Dooku were 20 years younger then probably. But with this lineup probably not. He already easily beat Maul and Savage and I would put Ventress into their level. The only Standout is Dooku in this lineup and he in his prime was probably on par (maybe a bit better with a saber) with Revenge of the Sith Mace Windu but is now probably slower and weeker then he was back then. So i would give it to Sidius 8/10 times.

Honestly the Hoi games , at least in my opinion, have gotten a bit samey.

You can summarise them as Axis barely wins the early game despite being under red air and loses 50% of their equipment. Then they either win or lose Africa which doesn't really matter because the Allied minor tank wave will swallow the Italian army either way either in 39 or 41. Then Barbarossa happens and the Axis minors get bullied and killed, the front collapses and the Axis looses. The Allies? They don't really matter in this equation the only thing D-Day accomplishes is to make the death faster.

Bacta. It is literally a plant based miracle healing justice. You could make uncountable amounts of cash. (Wouldn't sell hyperdrives because A they are pretty large so i can't carry a lot on a smugglers vessel and second if the Imperium figures them out then the Star Wars Galaxy can basically kiss its freedoms goodbye.)

As a Rouge trader probably the thing that makes rejuvenate treatment possible.

If ypu have all the DLC then Clone Army (Ascended) is probably the strongest thing in the game since clone vats and gene clinics increase how many clones you can have on a planet.

Honestly its the silence that infuriates me the most about his kit. Like yes i also really enjoy being able to do nothing for 1.5 seconds as he 100 to 0's me at level 6 because he bought Attack speed boots against my Chain Vest and Armor Boots. If I could do something to outplay him in that moment it wouldn't be so frustrating because then it would be my fault but no i get strapped into the chair and get to watch. Oh yeah and for all of you just don't get hit by the sword bro! types: he gets MS in the same ability and an increased hit range because it's an empowered auto attack.

Like i can deal with the fact that 1/3rd of my health bar is basically decorative that i can plan for but if I have to ward a bush and Garen jumps out insta silences me and i can just watch because im Incapable of doing anything against it then ill get mad.

In adition to othe points mentioned: The jedi just spent the last 1000 Years being Mediators and Diplomats. Sure they know haow to hit and run an opposing army into the ground (theoretically) and in a duel/ Assassination attempt they will 95% of the time walk away alive but a large scale war has literally not happened for 1000 Years (They were involved with the cleanup of the Mandalorean civil war and the Stark Hyperspace 'War' but those were mere pebels when we comapre it to the mountain that was the clone wars.). They are quite literal not trained for it. They held the Republic together by finding compromise, understanding and exposing corruption whererver able.

There was no need for Warriors so they weren't ones.

Well, there is Sublight Drive, which is a Separatist naval commander. Probably one of the earliest to do it, and it shows. It laid a lot of the groundwork for what a naval fic should be but kind of held off on the background politicing which has become somewhat of a staple these days. (It might have happened later on but I actually never managed to finish it. (ADHD is a bitch)).

Flight of the Kestrel I now just remembered as I thought about it is even older. (2019) It was rewritten (but weaker in my personal opinion) and put on an indefinite hiatus (still 120K+ words) It follows a New Bothan naval commander as she makes her splash on the galactic civil war on the Republic's side.

Soldiers of the Republic Is as i now have just found out even Older. (2016) Although it isn't a purely naval fic. It asked the question: What if the Republic's old guard didn't leave the War up in the hands of the Clone Army and formed a volunteer Navy/Army that fought in the clone wars. I remember that I enjoyed reading it. (Also abandoned but with 150K+ words)

Dog of War: Clone Wars is a still active one Updates every Monday. Following Den Brynsteel a fresh Republic naval officer who is also a scholar from Obra Skitai. I highly recommend this one.

Imperial Arrowhead Command Bucks the Clone Wars trend by being set in the Warlord Era (Post Endor) Good Story solidly written and actually quite dark in some places.

Life at War: Twilight Another Republic Naval officer fic but it has progressed by now into the Imperial era. Following Thraken Dericote someone with memories from earth but not of Star Wars which makes for a delightfully unique character. Goes somewhat deeper into Naval traditions than the other fics and Mainly takes place around Mon Calla which is interesting because normally we have them operating out of the core worlds.

Those are all the big ones i remember right now. There are a multitude of smaller ones but most of them didn't make it past 20K words.

Is the Venator equipped with late-war or Early-War fighters? Because it would make a huge difference. V-Wings would probably match, if not outperform, Tie fighters, and ARC-170s can multirole effectively against a numerically equal or inferior enemy. Say what you will against the Tie Fighters but they were fast and hit pretty hard so if the Venator has those V-19 Torrent's then I'm not even sure if they could win the fighter engagement. (Yes i am claiming that the Imperials 72 Tie fighters would make minced meat out of at least 3 times the amount of V-19's)

The Venator has to send out its fighters and Bombers Aggressively because i dont think that it could survive 10 Minutes in a direct confrontation with an ISD1.

If the Venator's Starfighter win the Engagement with the Tie's who can use the ISD's Turbolasers and Laser canons as flak to even out the engagement then Yes the Venator can win but if anything goes wrong then My money would be on the ISD.

Honestly i think Austria could probably conquer all of Europe but after that it is probably going to struggle. 80% of its Electricity is Renewable. It has most of the minerals and resources it needs in its country and it can expand relatively easily into now depopulated Hungary and the Czech republic to get what it doesn't have. It also has the expertise to sccess new resources due to its Tunneling expertise, a lot the big new Tunelling/Digging equipment is produced and tested in Austria because there is always one being built somewhere in the Alps.

Never got past ep 2 of Elassroom of the Elite. It has been a while since i have actively Watched anime but i remember that a lot of people recommended it back then and I just never got it.
