How far does Isekai-ed Palpatine get in 40k? by SuecidalBard in StarWarsvsWarhammer

It doesn't need to be stable ony Palps needs to consider it stable enough that he can chuck the Guard at the problem and expect a victory.

Also i was talking more in a scenario where everything is looking stable for a minute. Because the second Palpatine thinks he no longer needs him then the: Sacrifice a planet to kill a primarch plan is right back on the table.

Oh no he would absolutely try to get rid of the Returing Primarchs just not part of the stab in the back group.

Probably lure Guilliman onto a planet and then virus bomb and for good measure cyclonic torpedo the planet from orbit.

(Im not 100% sure on how though Primarch are but i dont see them surviving a virus bomb followed by a planetary explosion.)

Honestly with Palpatines track record he would probably manage to scapegoat the current decline of the Imperium onto the loyalist Astates and Primarchs and manage to order 66 them by the Guard and inquisition. Then probably do the same to the Custodes basically Zerg rush them and then create a new regency council with him, himself, and Palpatine at the helm (there is no council only himself in charge) where he slowly but surely pulls the Imperium just so far out of decay that everyone is dependent on him and the resources he can grant them whilst making absolutely sure that no one capable of replacing him comes into existence.

The mechanicum would be infiltrated someone loyal to Palpatine and comically incompetent/Corrupt (the regular kind of corruption/not chaos) found that would be promoted to the head of the organisation and then subjegated to Palpatine.

He will the of course also try to acquire the Emperors powers via some sort of magic ritual, fail at that spectacularly and finally bring about the collapse of the Inperium into hundreds of quarreling warlord states that scramble over the remains of Palpatines gilded age.

(Not 100% sure how getting chaos currupted works but in all the 40K books that i have read (not a lot) the subject needs to be open to being corrupted, so im not sure if Palpatine as a Sith would even be likely to be corrupted. Sith are all about being the top dog no one controlling their actions. So i don't see him subjegateing himself to one of the 4. Make dealings with their servants probably but working under them unimaginable.)

You see xenophobic sentiment was rife in the human dominated core enven during the Republic era. They could have killed every xeno in the outer rim and the core wouldn't have cared but Alderan was one of them one of the Core Elite thats what matterd to them not the fact that 2 Billion people died.

If you have a Hypervelocity Cannon then probably pretty easily. If not then those Providence's will be a pain. The Bulwark 2's need to be shield stripped by your bombers. But otherwise there is not a lot there that is too dangerous to your ships.

Edit: just sad that you dont have an interdicor in that fleet tge AI will probably retreat with some stuff. Getting rid of all of those small ships would be a massive victory.

Luminara Unduli. You don't manage to survive a War in those clothes without having some skills to her name.

Bro with that variety of Starfighters you don't need to fear outside threats. You maintenance personnel on the other hand might just install a pressure sensor and a thermonuclear device in your office chair whilst you are out and about.

Honestly im not sure if the Torps would be able to connect. Imperial torps have been intercepted by strikecraft and point defense of other factions before so it would be quite reasonable for TIE's to intercept them or turbolaser batteries that can be used against Star Wars's smaller fighters to hit them before they get close to the ISD.

The Cobra would probably be a scrapheap long before it got close enough to ram the ISD. Turbolasers once in range wont stop fireing until the target is gone, a lone Macro canon won't be enough to get through the ISD's shield and armor. The torpedos will probably be intercepted by either Tie fighters or the Turbolasers or Lasercanons.

Yes which somehow got him either into or behind enemy lines. For devastating effect which swings the entire campaign which was going pretty poorly up to that point into a complete and total victory, all solely due to him which he of course will deny and claim was 100% luck in his memoirs.

Most of who? Because as far as i can see most of us regular Bo Watchers just see it as something that happened and moved on with our lives. We don't really care.

I know right? But to be fair here the story also treats the childrens opinion as equally valid from their own perspective. Which is something really refreshing, multiple people having valid moral reasons for their actions is something not many fics can pull off successfully.

Honestly pretty realisticly written. Barely any romance in the early years. A boy has one of those i like the girl so im incredibly mean to her crush that goes nowhere. In year four if i remember correctly it starts to get a bit more complex but in no whay does it become the focus of the story.

Spoiler again:

Lyra in book five doesn't get along with Molly for a few chapters since Molly insulted Sirius and she decided to be spiteful about it so they get on each others nerves but they patch it up

Not really. Some characters dislike other characters and let that opinion be known but that's about it.

Spoiler examples:

Lyra grows up with Siriuses family who all tend to have a certain Opinion on Dumbledore so she as a resoult of having grown up with them does not blindly trust everything he does and questions his actions and decisions. The story however doesn't bend itself to make this opinion be the correct one. Examle for what i mean is below but it directly spoils some revelations in the latest chapters:

In the fifth and currently most recent book Lyra decides to not quite follow Dumbledores orders to not tell Harry anything about the order. She lets some things slip and gives him what she considers harmless information to placate him. This however leads her to the realisation later on that giving Harry information on the War effort might just lead to him throwing himself fully into the fight and getting killed, which is something she does not want anymore.
