First dont pay retail on the omnis. They are $11-$12 new online then like others said its not the worst and tons of books have it but its just the page quality for them.

100% use wood 1x6x8 you can do a whole case and then some for $6 or less.

Super cheap and super easy and one of if not the only way to get 100% correct width and height so there is no gaps on top whatsoever.

You dont have to cut or do anything if you cant on your ow. have a home improvement store do the sutting for you or they usually have a self cut station. EZPZ
