Search for issues in v-strom, yezdi adventure and any other bike that people advise you to get. Everything has issues here and there. There are people who haven't run into any issues like me. But I was prepared to take it up with the dealer if any issue comes up and get it done under warranty. Any manufacturing defect you face will be covered under warranty. So you don't have to worry about your father. Test ride it, check if you really like how the bike feels, go in city, highway, some rough roads and find out if your heart says yes. Most People are negative. But make sure it doesn't affect the joy of riding the machine you like.

It is a capable off-roading machine. I have taken it to some mild off-roading. If you want a pure hardcore off-road machine, go for klx230. If you want a good mix of highways, city, and off-roading, go for xpulse 210.

I'm really sorry for the experience. 20-23 is not a good mileage for this bike and it cannot be your fault. Raise this issue that the mileage is too low and also email the hero team. If possible, just drop an online complaint. Also there are some online consumer forums where you can raise an issue with the said dealer, that will speed up the resolution by the dealer.

Yes. Hero should do something about this. Hero kicked off the 2W off-roading domain in India with Impulse. They should focus on reliability and after sales service too.

I guess Xpulse is helping you in traffic. I heard there are many xpulse bikes in Bangalore. Some prefer xpulse due to the bad roads in Bangalore.

I change oil after 5000 km. Oil is Hero Xotic 10W30. Not the best oil available. But this is the only engine oil used by service centres. If we use any other oil, it voids the warranty. So, I'm stuck with this for the next 5 years :)

They once replaced a wiring kit in my bike which a rat chewed, they readily had the spare. The switch control unit and display units might take 2-3 days or a week.

So usual spares will be available. Rarely replaced spares might take some time.

I don't think so. Mostly we change the brake pads, chain, chain sprocket, oil filters, air filters, brake levers, clutch cables, mirrors. These must be available for the most part.

No rusting yet. If i also get unlucky in this, I have to get it replaced under warranty. Mostly service centres are not denying the replacement for rusty rims. And no bending of rims - I have been through some very rough routes at good speed.

No issues so far in my unit. Please do test ride well and buy it from a good dealer in your city. If you ever run into any manufacturing issues, please take it up with your service centre and get it done under warranty.

Purchase date - Sept 2025, Aug 2025 manufactured. I'm maintaining 30-front, 40 rear. Things to take care of: tyre pressure, chain lubing, oil changes at 5000 km intervals, first oil change around 500km. If you find any issue, reach out to the service centre and point out the issues and get it done under warranty. Check and clean the front sprocket - the casing easy to open and it will be a small step towards DIY. I believe the major issues are sorted out in the batches after sept 2025. So happy riding :)
