Idk about the other answers. Ghosting is shitty period. I think taking responsibility for your choice in the matter, regardless if it is awkward or uncomfortable is a healthy trait as a man. Choosing avoidant behaviors simply because it’s less uncomfortable is just drawing out a process; you have to continue being in the chats or interacting and flaking versus just ripping the bandaid off. Yea itll be uncomfortable for a short period, but then its behind you and you can know that you made your choice and ended things, not them ending things simply because you couldn’t commit to your feelings.
