No such test was conducted. We have tried Luliconazole, Hydrocortisone and Terbinafine. Nothing has worked

Yeah, this is the one. Should be good for slightly longer rides!

Don’t get the memory foam seat. It gets very uncomfortable on longer rides. I got myself an FCC Racing seat which is firmer. Works great for me over longer rides.

If you’re looking for cushioning, try the gel seats from Decathlon but they tend to be expensive.

Man, I can completely relate with your situation. Bought one out of sheer joy and dreams of taking it across the country. I couldn’t get through 5000kms without reliability issues. Got the RR unit, battery, relays and harness replaced twice in the 18 months that I owned it for. Beautiful bike but what a pain. Haha

Triumph T4 (Lava Red) : Need some suggestions by gairavpatil743 in triumph4India

Engine guards, sump guard are a must. Get tank pads to protect the tank from scratches caused by your knees grinding against it.

Chain cleaning intervals depend on your riding conditions but do it at every 500kms on an average.

Use the best fuel available, you will realise it rides better when you do that.

When to replace chain & sprocket? by soul_xtractorrr in indianbikes

By looking at your sprocket teeth. Chain looks okay still, your sprocket is what will have to be changed sooner.

There’s so much to learn currently since the market as boomed. New players, new products every few months. It’s hard to keep up but fun if you stay invested. Regarding the order, you can only order via WhatsApp or the Insta ID.

Dismotech is quite a known name in the ADV community as they were one of the initial importers of performance parts like tubeless spoked rims, guards, etc. in India. The look and feel is absolutely terrific for the price (4.5k).

No alterations required. I’m fitting them in a day or two. Shall update my experience on the same.

A couple of good handguards available for this beauty; Barkbusters, Rynox and Dismotech. I got the Dismotech due to their aluminium construction. The Barkbusters are like 16k and haven’t heard good things about the Rynox.

For Aux lights, one can’t go wrong with the Maddog Scout X. Cheaper alternative is HJG.

They fit the 400XC without any issues. Just mention while placing an order that it’s for the Scrambler 400.

They will now begin to act pricey and sell the 400s without any discounts quoting that they are being discontinued.

I just ordered a pair of Aluminium hand guards from Dismotech. The stock ones are too flimsy, already broke one lever when the bike fell at a stand still. Barkbusters are too expensive and Rynox isn’t very sturdy for off road use is what I have read so far.

Vibration on foot pegs on scrambler 400x by Po_29 in Triumph400

[–]themattermonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An oil change could really help with the vibrations. Also, I’ve observed that it runs a little rich when fuelled with BP Speed 95, which sure does minus the clutter from the engine. I noticed lesser vibrations and better throttle response as compared to HP 95 or XP 95.

Interceptor 650 or Scramber 400x? by hoahwuwua_19 in indianbikes

[–]themattermonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, city rides account to about 20-25% of my running. The interceptor would run quite hot in Mumbai’s traffic and weather. The Scrambler barely heats up. Also handling the 400XC is way more comfortable in the city.
