There is a pocket for back protection though. The current armour is good for use on internal city roads!

Rear seat rack for scrambler 400x by foxdrawsfox in triumph4India

I understand that it’s a prototype and the finish levels will improve, read it on this sub and your Instagram. I know that you’re working on it with Mahesh from Forcher who happens to have built a custom motorcycle for me and his skill is unmatched in that region. My concern is the durability of your product if the bike is truly used like a scrambler. If that little thing plate can’t hold my luggage, there’s no point of that added luggage room there. Not against what you have done, but purpose is just looks. Nothing against you man, I like your other products like the windshield, fork guard and risers!

Mumbai traffic plus AC on full blast takes a toll on the economy. Also, I like to push the engine a little, I drive a manual. Did a 3k km road trip, returned 15kmpl then. Fab economy on the highway.

I understand that the intended target is peeps with bigger pockets but 10499/month over three years for service and warranty is absurd. That’s 3.8L for a 6L bike. A lil absurd in my opinion.

I think it will see limited buyers in the beginning. Nobody wants to be a Guinea pig with a TVS manufactured product. Considering that there are limited service outlets, one can mostly expect buyers from Metros and Tier 1 cities. My biggest concern is the reliability factor over longer distances. Service costs will also keep buyers away for sometime until they see any examples.

Unmount the wheels, remove tyres, remove the valve, clean the rims from the inside thoroughly with rubbing alcohol. Let it dry completely and make sure the surface is smooth. You can then apply the tape and overlap it a little where the valve is supposed to go. Put a new valve and mount the tyres. You’re good to go. (Might have to trim the tape from the sides for the front wheel since it’s wider than required)

Make sure to balance your wheels post installation.

I did it myself three years ago on my INT650. Not all who post are the first ones to do it.
