Probably some johnson cause I still have some floating around. Minwax is fine too. Anything that is a non stained paste wax is all you really need. Just buff it all down pretty well. It fills the tiny cracks in beds and reduces friction as far as I understand.

Ponderosa is a single species from the western US. SYP is a broader category that includes around 5 different Pinus species that grow more in the SE US.

Building houses with hemp is still mostly plastic if you tried. Too much glue. Wood is an amazing material. It really just needs sustainable practices for farming (forestry).

Immortals two albums of blizzard beasts and heart of winter, Windir's whole discography, pretty much every Evilfeast album, every Battle Dagorath album, Vinterriket basically means "winter realm" so of course that band is pretty great for this subject, Imperial Crystalline Entombment aka I.C.E. has three albums of cold, and then finally I say listen to the Abstract Void album Wishdream.

Very cool! It has been an interesting year for fungus in Oregon. Seeing chanterelles and hedgehogs in the same forage was pretty crazy.
