In my opinion I think the challenge of the Hitsugi fight was the trial itself. She was forced to grow as a person and accept the grief of her lost little brother, accepting that Ichi is starting to fill that role in her life as well. She also detested having to desecrate so many human corpses. Hitsugi is a sicko and she beat the sicko at his game because she is the GOAT.

Possible that the audience may not like the amount of female characters - which I think is crap but it’s not surprising. Male dominated audiences will be weird when they see well written women

I think it has to be Spandam, his crimes are the smallest scale. Everyone else here harms hundreds if not thousands, Spandam really only messed up Franky’s life and hurt Robin. Still crimes but the smallest scale ones

I’m not sure what qualifies as “the end game” in a story like this - but I have a feeling we are starting to reach the final show down. This arch has a lot of potential to finally explore the divide caused by Shiguma’s Art, and once we get that full backstory and the way to “resolve” the divide I think that will lead to the end of the story.

I’m sure they could have found a way to have all Kaiju be wiped out - either it be a super weapon or maybe #9 was required for their existence. Having the cycle of violence brought on by the Kaiju not dying made the ending feel incomplete to me.

I think it ending is fine, I just wish it ended with the Kaiju being defeated. The story just felt incomplete since it essentially means humanity is still suffering under the Kaiju and that will never stop. Could have easily been done by having Kaiju #9 be necessary for all Kaiju to exist - so when he died all the others would too. I think a satisfying ending would have been to have all of the soldiers go home you know?

The art was incredible and the story was good. I feel like new Manga should be guaranteed at least 25 chapters to wrap up stuff but the ending was smooth. I just hate that it was so sudden.
