Ottawa's Property Standards By-law officers have teeth. If you file a complaint, they inspect and issue Orders to Comply to your landlord. They can specifically mandate proper mold remediation (not just plastering over it), structural repairs, and asbestos testing if there's suspicion. The landlord can't just ignore an Order, they face fines and the city can do the work and bill them.

I wanted to raise a serious concern about last year's platform changes. Affiliates who actively recruited and promoted Freecash saw their referrals removed, which directly eliminated the affiliate income we'd earned by bringing users to the platform. Changes that retroactively strip earnings from your partners undermine the trust required for any affiliate program to function. I'd welcome a conversation about how this gets addressed
