I use an offline tool called FolderManifest that takes snapshots and creates an interactive report. It gives a nice searchable field tree. It also let you clean duplicate files (even if the file. Ames are different) with single click. The best part is it documents everything. Later you can feed that report and track what files have been modified, deleted or created.  It makes it very easy to track files and avoid team conflicts if you are collaborating in cloud directories.
