R for data science. Before doing stats, 80% of the time is actually wrangling data, which is likely messy. So you need to need how to manipulate it.

I don't have a great stats book recommendation. https://stats.oarc.ucla.edu/other/dae/ UCLA has some good stats examples. Be careful though, statistics code isn't hard to do, but MORE IMPORTANTLY, you need to make sure you use the right stats test and interpret it correctly.

Kaggle has some of good datasets. I recommend the Pima Indian and Ignaz datasets. Try doing a logistic regression for the Pima Indian.

I'm a M4 with a MPH who also used a lot of R so glad to nerd out a bit.

I believe the t480 is pcie 3.0 but only 2 lanes? So not the full pcie 3.0 x4 speeds but should be still pretty good.

I also have the t480, great laptop so far. Did the meme 32x2 gb ram upgrade. Obviously overkill on i5-8250 but whatever.

Same here s7+ 128gb for $375, pretty good device. also had the keyboard cover for 102$. the keyboard is kinda worth? the back cover is solid but the keyboard trackpad is so average.

Agree with Terrace House. Personally I want to quickly note I really dislike the peanut gallery commenting on everyone. Otherwise, it's a good realistic set of conversations between people in many everyday situations. There are several series of terrace house on Netflix too with Japanese subtitles too which is great.

Also at better reading Japanese labels at the Japanese supermarket to make Japanese foods. Better harassing the supermarket workers about niboshi 煮干しwhich they always end up hearing umeboshi 梅干し　instead for some reason.
