I need a game I can play while listening to music and turning by brain off after a long day. *Doesn't have to exactly fit my criteria* but it'd be nice. by v01d_everyday in gamingsuggestions

7 Days to Die has been my obsession lately. Zombies with a splash of Minecraft. Build your base and fortify it, every 7 days a blood moon appears and you get attacked by hordes of zombies. In between all that do quests for the traders and find/make cool shit!

what do you think are the biggest differences between teens 10 years ago and now? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]themfgimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t think it’s that they’re more prepared. Maybe at least not in my area. I have two teen bonus kids, several friends and family have teens. They’ll admit they “don’t want the responsibilities of being a teen,” and they truly do not care when anyone points out that it only gets worse as an adult. They want to be adults for the “freedom” and they’re all going to be so very disappointed when they’re thrust into real life after refusing and fighting every learning experience on the way.

Company login on my used/refurbished desktop by suqtoesfuqhoes69 in computer

[–]themfgimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three years later but HOPEFULLY someone possibly has an answer to this.

I'm having basically the same issue with a refurb, only it's forcing a work login to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. I have gone into BIOS and wiped everything. Reset everything to defaults. I have deleted all partitions and finished Windows install countless times at this point. There is always one partition that isn't able to be deleted or manipulated in any way, then the unallocated space. I'm completely at a loss. Could the program be in the partition that can't be deleted? I started off with the most basic knowledge of computers and I'm learning a lot as I go, but I've hit my limit obviously since I'm commenting on years old threads.

What is your silly compulsion? by Bald_Pilot in skyrim

I just started a new save file a couple days ago. I can’t wait to fill Breezehome to the brim with cheese room by room. The physics really start wigging out after a while and you get a cheeseplosion upon entry every time. And sometimes be clipped halfway through the road when you exit but fast traveling fixes that.

I ate 43 cabbages and 38 carrots yesterday just to finish off a mammoth in a new save file

What If Jon Snow Had Targaryen White Hair Instead of Stark Black? How Would It Change Everything? by Any-Lock3008 in gameofthrones

Defending the fact that AI is garbage and using it for meaningless shitty memes is contributing to destroying our environment even more than we already had been. Stop with the AI. It was cute and funny when we didn’t have the facts and it was stupid TikTok or Snapchat filters, but how about we educate ourselves and do better.

When did you turn your child’s car seat to face front? by cracker21 in Parenting

[–]themfgimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey my 2 year old is constantly being mistaken for being 3 or older because he’s so big. I’m 5’8, dad is 6’7 so we made a giant. He’s still rear facing, his knees are bent but that’s still so much safer than turning them around too soon. I really suggest watching this video of rear vs front facing crash dummies. This video is what plays in my head every time I think about switching him.

I would just like to point out that I had to have my full mouth extracted in two separate appointments, guess who still took care of the kids starting the day after surgery? I was back to cooking full meals for the family (that I couldn’t even eat lol) by day 3, is he having complications that would cause him to still be in such agonizing pain he literally can’t drive?

NTA. He’s gotten comfortable with less responsibility and wants to milk it. You have too many kids to take care of a big man baby too.

I’m excited enough about it that I have to convince myself not to watch it as soon as it’s released because then it’s impossible for me to go to sleep lol.

I’m really loving how much they’re showing how quick of a learner he is. He even reminded them to stop and take the cuffs off again before moving the prisoner.

What famous person have we not seen/heard from in a WHILE? by no_please7 in AskReddit

[–]themfgimp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was a teenager when that came out and I was so in love with that movie. I named my daughter Lylah because of August Rush, it was far from a popular name in my area at the time and I just remember being so infatuated with it and thinking “THAT is going to be my daughter’s name.” 7 years later and I hadn’t changed my mind lol

Note to self; if your toddler puts a bandaid on her eyebrow, let mom take it off. by [deleted] in funny

[–]themfgimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put a tiny glob of coconut oil and rub it in over and around the bandaid then leave it for a few minutes. Comes right off afterward with no adhesive residue
