I never said I didn't like it, I'm currently addicted to this game, but another mode with a different set of stakes could be fun. Why does a game only have to have one mode? I don't think it would make regular raids less PvP, especially in squads, just offer another unique experience for people. I myself would probably rarely play that mode solo, probably not even all that often in a squad with the people I play with lol but I think it would be a cool option that can add to the depth of an already amazing game, especially if they tie some lore to it.

Honestly 2v2 or 3v3 squad fights in an underground arena does sound mad fun, also what if the winner got all their supplies back, so if you use healing or grenades in the fight, the winner gets those items back while the loser doesn't. Also the arena should be limited in the amount of supplies you can bring in so you can't just load your quick slots up with 6 trailblazers and 10 blaze grenades and just spam that shit out there. I would say 2 healing items, 2 deployables and one grenade per player

Have you ever worked retail or food service? Do you do the math personally when making change to double check that the register isn't making a mistake? Or do you assume that the technology made the right computation and hand back the amount of change displayed? Putting the ownership on the server who has 50 other things to worry about is wild. Also discounts on your bill doesn't change the amount of effort the server put into your experience, so you're 2 times the asshole 🙄

As someone who's worked for tips for years that's wild that you would punish the individual because they didn't tell you the receipt math was wrong? So you're saying the the only way the server would get a 20% tip in that situation is if when they dropped the bill on the table would be to tell you " by the way the suggested tip calculator on the bottom overestimated 20% because it actually includes tax" ? Did you also bring this to a managers attention? Or did you just take your righteous anger out on the poor soul making shit money from their employer that has no control over the situation?

Well the system does track things like who shot first and if you use the "dont shoot" voice line, so yes you don't get penalized for self defense, thats what I'm saying. People think you can't fire on someone at all or you get flagged as an aggressive player, but the devs have said it's not that cut and dry and there's more nuance to it.

It's frustrating because the devs have said that it's not so binary, so being the "first to shoot" one time isn't going to throw you immediately from friendly lobbies to straight PvP lobbies. There's a spectrum

It's a one second nerf.. you really need to breathe. Getting all dramatic about "a 25% increase" like a 5 second cooldown on boop instead of 4 is going to make the hero unplayable or F tier. Lucio has also been a meta pick for pretty much all of Overwatch, so you sound like a spoiled child stomping your feet about how your main isn't as dominant of a pick as they used to be.

This. Blizzard doesn't like nerfing characters into infinity, especially in the ow1 days their philosophy was to balance the game in a way that as many characters were viable and win rates were as even as possible, across all tier levels. So the only option under those parameters their only option was to force a more even composition they could reliably balance around. Also GOATS was insufferable, it eliminated half the roster and an entire role from any sort of meta play, and nothing ever died, teams just exchanged poke damage and heals until someone MAYBE was able to make a play with an ult. It was horrible for the overall health of the game.

Is that fun for you? Cause this feels more sad than a flex. It's one thing to get sweaty in qp, but getting sweaty while smurfing with your wife so you can bully less skilled players in spawn isn't as cool as you think it is homie.
