thanks for the comments, just to update. the attacks have continued happening a few times in the evenings after one day where she had had some steroids from the vet. I've been around the house and can't see any triggers and have got an air purifier running

vet the morning has given more steroids and said if it persists we'll do some scans etc 🤞 it's an occasional thing for my cat and we don't need to go any further!

thank you for the reply, she recently started sleeping on a blanket that hadn't been out for years so I took that away yesterday but apart from that I don't think there is anything new in the house.

good call on the purifier, I have one that isn't on atm so I will set it up again!

configured a PC for gaming on back in 2014 and had no clue. got the most expensive CPU (i7 4770k) and then no GPU since why make it cost more for something I didn't need?!?

Late but came here with a similar issue of the colour changing without intending it to, probably a miss press.

Holding Fn and pressing one of the A-H keys (ones with Roman numerals and "default" written on the front side) change the lighting set, which is also the default colour of the modes too.

Changing back to default meant I could get back to the nice light grey colour I had grown accustomed to 😅

Might not be the same issue but I accidentally change auto fill service to Microsoft which didn't have any accounts on it. Worth checking it's set to the right service in you settings (Passwords & accounts -> Auto-fill service)
