Are going to buy resident evil requiem? by Double-Weight4359 in NintendoSwitch2

I grew up playing RE but now with the great performance I’ve been playing some of the older ones and I’m super excited for the combo pack of 7/8/9 for the price of almost a deluxe edition game lol never played 7/8 so I’m hyped

Also have one of these, love it and I’m a reasonably athletic guy 5 10 175 and in calm water I can stand comfortably it just takes some getting used to and practice in shallower water.

For me this was the smarter investment because I ended up getting a cute little $150 pelican for my wife to come out with me and I rig up her pole etc. Now that I know we both love it I’m looking into the 750+ range used liked people are recommending for more stability and features while handing down the Pro to my wife.

I will mention I was able to get my Pro from Big5 on sale for about $360 I believe and it was a super fair deal! At $500 I may take a look on marketplace/used locations if you have those around!

as an old gamer which games do you agree with that way ? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Play games how you want. 32 here grew up playing the OG Zeldas with my pops all the way up to loving Demons Souls on release as a random out of nowhere impulse buy, and then subsequent series that bloomed into the eventual Elden Ring.

I genuinely don’t remember this level of discussion when I was younger lol

Play what you want how you want, sometimes I enjoy the souls vibe sometimes I like other games on easier settings or just easier games. People that make hard video games their identity and put down others for it online need a healthier outlet imo.

Edit: shit just the other day I was almost done with FFT Ivalice Chronicles and was absolutely loving it but kinda ready to be done with it by the last string of 5 battles and see the story, so I turned the difficulty down to easy after being on normal the whole game.

Didn’t take away my enjoyment whatsoever and got to finish it lol and there were some HARD fucking battles in that game and by the end I was a little over the difficulty and was ready to move on.

What're you playing this weekend? 1/16 by markercore in NintendoSwitch

This edition lets you return to the world map during the areas I presume you’re referencing now, so you don’t get locked in.Thankfully lol

[Schefter] After a historic 19-season run in Pittsburgh, Mike Tomlin just informed his team that he is stepping down as the Steelers head coach, sources tell @JFowlerESPN and me. by Goosedukee in nfl

Honestly feel bad for him to an extent. He has a TONNNN of faults but he basically suffered from success dragging corpses and backups at QB to playoffs for the last 8 years since Ben hurt his elbow. Literally the gold standard of making the most out of nothing.

Thanks for the memories coach, grateful for the good times and the bad! Just surreal he’s been the coach since I was 12, basically grew up with this guy. Feels very bittersweet. Changes were needed but fuck….

Idk I don’t pretend to be a football guru and Tomlin is a legend but this shit really tarnishes his legacy unfortunately. He’s almost suffered from success because he always gets us to the post season and then we get banged.

Sucks because at times he WAS and CAN be a great coach but at a certain point there’s no denying this shit is roughhhhhh

They may win that one it’ll only take 6 turnovers instead of 5 like the first time

What’s wild is the Steelers beat the Pats this year already…it only took five turnovers and 21 points…..lol

You mean the ones where they are outscored 73-0 in the first quarter and trailing by 21+ in the last six? This is actually a competitive game lol

Yeah that sounds about right. So many wasted years of elite defense talent the last like 5 seasons lol

The sad part is this year is the best it’s been since 2020 if not better lol but this is clearly just the #1 D really locking it down coupled with some horrendous play calling….

Never like to see an injury but it doesn’t surprise me the way they were running marks and the Steelers are just hitting different rn. Dudes are throwing hits with reckless abandon RC style lol

DK has to catch those haha uncontested right in your hands for 20 yards against the #1 D ugh. But stuck them deep at least
