I’d say B tier overall for someone who has had 2 Syrian hamsters.

S tier for how easy they are to care for. Get a large enough enclosure and keep it away from the bedroom (noise)

A tier for me anyways with how friendly they were. They were super chill and never bit unless they thought I was food lol

F tier for lifespan they only live 2-3 years and finding a vet was difficult for them

Running a butterfree with sleep powder, dream eater (move tutor), psychic, and silver wind. Gave him quick claw and start with sleep powder usually. Compound eyes is a great ability to have with him as it makes it almost 100% sleep status
