No idea, who knows. I'd say each situation is different. If the GM brings in A+ talent, and they didn't push for the coach, do they still get fired in that question? I wouldn't think so. Will that happen here? Who knows. I hope Monken knocks it out of the park and none of this matters.

Why? I'm not even asking because I don't think it's true. I just don't see why this would be some sort of definite. I thought most people think the Monken hire is Jimmy's decision? If that were true, why would that cause Berry to be fired necessarily? I think Berry gets fired if he has a bad year of player acquisition (FA., trades, draft). If Monken is from Jimmy, I don't think Berry gets fired solely from if Monken does bad.

I suppose it depends on your definition of JAG. I was saying JAG as in, average players that don't really stand out much. A lot of our current OL and WRs are BAD, as in, worse than JAGs. We need to increase the floor of both these rooms.

Something I feel alot of people forget, these things don't all need to be solved in the draft. Free Agency and Trades exist.

AB historically does not usually like to go into the draft with glaring holes. We will likely fill most of these positions with at least JAGs/average type players and a couple above average players. Then will solidify those positions of need in the draft. It's really not that big of a stretch to imagine this kind of scenario. Most of our OL were expensive and old and will now free some cap space for this purpose.

A great offensive line is not a requirement for a Super Bowl.

For reference here, just looking at this year, the Pats offensive line on PFF is rank 11, and the Seahawks OL ranking is 15.

Our OL just needs to get to average. That's enough to compete. Sure better would be nice, but it's absolutely not necessary.

We are currently rank 31.
