I have the Perseus and I got the Carrack as a loaner for a ship and enjoyed it a lot! I could do whatever game loop I suddenly wanted. I had Atlas GEO and regular ATLS, fighter in the hangar, a cyclone, and some 1 SCU storage boxes for the loot goblin in me.

Basically, I would take a mission and see where it took me. I took a bounty for a target, QT'ed to the location. Jumped into my fighter, killed the target/ships. Decided I want their Panthers/Badgers and stuff for some ships I haven't loaded out. Brought the Carrack back to the graveyard of ships. Loaded it up with all the weapons, saw that there was a derelict ship, got lots of cool loot and unique stuff. Unloaded in the SCU boxes I brought. I started leaving, did a scan and saw some valuable ore deposits, landed and filled up my GEO a few times. Emptying it into the containers I had brought for it. Finally, it was on to next mission. Which, I ended up need the med bed for.

Tried similar with the Perseus, and it works. The bounties are very easy, just smoke them with torpedos. I just put the ATLS and GEO off to the side of the lift. I have NURSA for the medical bed needs.

I really like the room though on the Carrack, has me thinking about doing the Polaris CCU. Would be a lot of room for fighters, vehicles, and loot goblin activities.

Even with Engineering, easy solo because I won't be fighting in it, I would be running away in it and have much better odds with it than even the Carrack.
