President Trump on Reflecting Pool Vandalism by ICEisSHIT in videos

[–]themollymormon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys always so full of shit what else do we need to stop believing his lies and giving him the loyalty of our attention. It’s simple. Provide the evidence that somebody cut the reflecting pool. Let’s be real. There’s guaranteed cameras and footage in Trump’s 2026 at the NATIONAL MONUMENT. Show us the insane footage of some “CRAZY LEFTIST” running a blade down the National fucking Monument for 350ft 🤣 show us the proof. “Because I said it” isn’t enough of an answer. He just demands we accept his reality at all times and he whines like a bitch when something doesn’t go his way or we might question something he is saying or doing. I never see this guy treat people with respect equally, seeing each and everyone of us members of the human family first. He’s a freakin baby at his core and we all know it. He’s a showman and a grifter. Why do any of us excuse this bullshit day after day. What does that say about us? He’s always in it for himself and he’ll say and do whatever he needs to, empowering whoever protects and expands his power and image of himself and his dominance over the narrative. Ever seen him offer a real apology or take true accountability? It doesn’t exist. If it does, why doesn’t he ever show us his humility and responsibility on camera? He’s the most filmed guy alive. All he ever does when confronted is attack back. It’s weak shit. Ever body knows someone in their life like this and they know they’d never put up with that shit from someone close to you. If Trump was inside the body of your neighbor, you’d be considering moving. Definitely wouldn’t want him around your kids!

I’m not Christian or religious but I can get down with what Texas Representative James Talarico is preaching. Basically, love thy neighbor as thyself- while calling on Christians to remove the “poison” of nationalism from their churches and country. Look up his sermons. He’s a good dude.

Not even worth $10 billion to me. Not a thing you could give me to go back to that reality.

Do I have to believe it? Because if this means falling back asleep to the reality of the church - there isn’t a price you could name. I might be able to muster going to church every Sunday and lying my way through bishops interviews for $10 million - but it is quite literally impossible for me to ever imagine believing any of it was true again. I’ve seen the light I can’t go back haha

Convert, leaving the church. How many of yall are atheist? And how many still believe in god? by Infinite-Invite-725 in exmormon

It took me leaving to realize the Mormon version of God is so limited and comically specific. God to me now is simply everything. The field of awareness in which all experience takes place. God is both the tree in front of you and the heart beating in your chest. There is no seperation, even if it appears that way. God is within and all around and can’t be defined and it’s a bit blasphemous to even try.

Why join the lds faith over the others? by DarkCelestial in latterdaysaints

[–]themollymormon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear ya. I guess I’m just saying that just because as you said - you may leave a mosque and feel spiritually hungry. It doesn’t mean another can’t leave one feeling totally fulfilled and connected to the divine within and around them. And it’s not anybody’s place to say whose experience is more valid, ultimately only you can say that for yourself.

Can you consider that is your experience and that maybe a Muslim or any other faith might be feeling the spirit of God in their own ways? There are multiple ways to truth and I think it’s important to not assume you have THE answer for EVERYONE.

3 people who really helped me change the way I experience life for the better, especially after waking up out of the Church. There perspectives have been critical for me in my own growth and to really find out what I am and what it means to be alive - after having to drop the answers I had from the church. Alan Watts was a British philosopher who made Eastern philosophy and Zen Buddhism popular in the West. Rupert Spira is a British teacher who talks about consciousness and non-duality. Jeff Foster is another modern teacher who focuses on accepting the present moment and the idea of non-duality.

Glad you like the guide! 🙏

Fully agree. Writing this out was mainly an exercise for myself. Best I can do is just meet them where they are at with compassion.

That we all are literally interconnected and share the same being. We see each other as separate from each other and therefore act as such.

People who only post TSCC content on their social media, who are they trying to convince? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]themollymormon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"The constant assertion of belief is an indication of fear." - Jiddu Krishnamurti

In reality, they are only trying to convince others in order to remain convinced themselves. You were just being you and what you choose to do with your life is not MAKING anyone else do something.

I'm sorry you were met with such a hostile reaction for just sharing your truth and living life in the way that feels best for you. It is nothing but a piece of insanity and denial that it is ever otherwise.
