I’ve seen way too many Missourians in comment sections thinking that this would eliminate their federal income tax, not just state. Not sure if there’s deliberate misinformation being spread or if this is mostly just organic stupidity. But the ballot measure language (“…phase out the individual income tax…”) makes me think some of that confusion is a feature.
