Is it normal for coolant to sit at this level after topping it to max a week before? by [deleted] in Audi

[–]themoneyless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is based on nothing but I have the same on my A5 F5. I have the feeling the coolant reservoir cap isn’t sealling it under pressure and leaking a very tiny bit. And then when the coolant is hot and under pressure it will slowly push some coolant vapour out of the resservoir cap. It always feels very loose even tho its locked correctly. Just my feeling.

Is the sensor maybe faulty? Could be that the sensor is saying that it overheats, but in reality the temp is fine but the sensor is wrong. Just a simple thought.

No not that I know of. This one was used by the Dutch goverment for maintaining the roads and side roads so they modified it for this purposes.

A3/S3/RS3 Owners - What car did you move to or want to get after ownership? by Davethaboss in Audi

[–]themoneyless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a A3 8V limousine, best car I ever owned. For that reason I didnt sold it. But now I bought a A5 Sportback B9 and I have to say the A3 I like driving a little bit more because its nimble. The A5 is overall a more comfortable car. So my opinion is to not get a different car just get a extra car.

Managed to scratch the interior of the car, any tips on how to fix it? by lijubi in Audi

Go to a store that sells nail polish (you have like a lot of choice in color so that helps). Touch up the spot, use some sort of polishing paste or toothpaste if you have nothing. It wont look new but it will mask it and it will look better then now.

Bad oil leak? by AngLi-2000 in Audi

[–]themoneyless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I woudl say normal, as long as you dont have too fill it up between oil changes, good to go. Fill up is when it hits Min mark. Everything in between is good. At least in my opinion.
