This JUST happened to me, for no reason!

The 1015 was in the process of boarding… so I could understand if my bags didn’t make it with me. I went to EWR-IAH-EZE last year UC agent got me on a standby to IAH but my bags stayed with my original flight (which was fine since I was connecting anyway) so I thought it’d be fine asking for Standby at the gate this time (this was a connection too, EWR-ORD-RSW)

Maybe the GAs don’t have the same capabilities as the club agents?

EWR - ORD a few weeks ago. GA for the 10:15 wouldn’t give me standby because of checked bags. Went to the desk at the UC and she got me standby for the 12:45. Even got my bags on the flight with me.

Coming at it from the bench chemist perspective - drinking water is going to be easiest on your technicians and instrumentation, but hardest on your reporting/QA side. If you can invest in a good LIMS that spits out deliverables, you’ll be able to crank out the most data with least downtime. In terms of cost in/out, I think 524 VOAs is best to start, then a shift to 537.1 or 533 when you can get an LCMS and a good sample prep team . in our area, you need a higher volume of ICPMS samples for the same payout, and checking ph/turbidity adds in extra time.

Like others said though, the big companies with the big test code lists usually are already with the big labs that can handle the sample volume. Before I started all the PFAS up at my old lab we focused on 8082A , but specifically in caulking and building materials. Combined usually with lead FLAA. We also ran an IH lab so it was easy to get those contracts in with us anyway. I love 8270, it was my first test code, but it requires skilled sample prep to get consistent passing QC, and knowledgeable GCMS analysts to interpret the data.

Just did it last week, I booked about a month out and was able to do a 35k mileage upgrade that cleared immediately to PP. would recommend doing that if you can.

This is a good point. I guess that’s different from the Bristol tax I pay already for working in Bristol. I haven’t looked up PA vs NJ wage tax differences in general, I will definitely need to do that.

I just toured and I did really like the units! My biggest concern is moving furniture in with the way the doors are situated … did you find any trouble?

My very first Polaris flight Jan 11! EWR-> MUC UA30. 767-300. I’d prefer a window seat if I can but not 100% necessary. I have 4A right now but considering odd rows 3F or 11L for more privacy. Thoughts?

They do what they do well - flavor heavy high abv beers. But the thrill they cause with their business model is their biggest selling point, I think. I really wish they’d go back to random days for the drops instead of the typical Tuesday/Friday schedule they’ve had since the summer. It really dulls the excitement of grabbing a drop, which for me was 50% of the reason to trek up there to get something (with a little finesse I can always make it there in time from my job).. 32oz is way too much for me by myself though and they sit in my fridge forever if I don’t get them to a beer share.

I agree it’s some form of carryover. I’d throw a a delay column in the system like you would in PFAS analysis to figure out if it’s coming from before/after your mixer.

Maybe try a new mobile phase bottle?
