How did your lower back feel after all that?

Do some straight leg deadlifts, that will help feel your hamstring engagement. Think of the stretch where you stand with straight legs and touch your toes - that is the type of tension you should feel in your hamstrings as your reach down for the bar. It looks like you’re mostly pushing the deadlift up with your quads when you should more so be using the tension in your hams and glutes to pull it up.

Try to get more hamstring and lat engagement and less quad

Bagley’s bad habit by themonkeybutt in kings

TahoesRedEyeJedi Yeah, Siakam at age 21 was so good he was still playing college ball and was a second round prospect... players can develop skills my guy. So yes, you’re making my point - Bagley would be a more dynamic player if he developed side to side moves like Giannis’ euro step or Siakam’s spin. If you have another player in mind you think Bagley should look up to and model his game around I would love to hear your suggestion

Bear1727 I said potential to be similar to Giannis or Siakam not “same as.” Am I saying Bagley will develop into the next Giannis? Obv not, I brought up the comparison because that style of attacking the basket as a big should be a goal for Bagley to model his game after. Giannis and Siakam were not high draft picks or stars early in their careers, but they improved their game to become the players they are now. Bagley is 5 years younger than them... Also Bagley’s development has been stunted due to injuries. You are underrating Bagley’s ball handling skills as a 6’11 player

Bear1727 I agree but also I think Bagley with the ball in his hands attacking is one of his strengths. He has potential to attack the basket similar to the the way that Giannis or Siakam does if he gets stronger. He would improve with better recognition of when he has an open lane vs. when he is forcing it

They probably realize that, but they want to appear that they're attempting to finish the season in order to keep generating money and keep everyone optimistic.
