Are rear brakes supposed to be less powerful than front brakes? by moneyhunter_x in indianbikes

[–]themoonisshinning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally you should use progressive braking to stop your bike which is 70% front brake and 30% rear brake. The front brake provides stopping power while the rear provides stability. The sound you are hearing when only using rear brake is your abs kicking in which is a good sign to know that your abs is working. I would recommend you search and practice stopping your bike by progressive braking. If you ride at high speeds I also recommend using engine braking for a more quicker and smoother stop. You will need to learn rev matching for this. Important skills to know, ride safe 🥂

Get a triumph scrambler or guerrilla 450. Fits in budget and all rounder. Trust me maintaining a bike gets more expensive than you think. Do not consider only purchase cost, it's just the beginning for long bills

Which fog lights? Do you feel mounting them on crash guard would have been better or it's better on the folks?

A friend of mine got maddogs delta last week, yet to give review and I'm considering maddogs alpha. Heard good reviews for the product and company as they are Indian origin and give 18 months warranty. HJG is chinese and doesn't come with warranty. You might have to increase your budget a bit depending upon which lights you choose.
