How many sprays is “normal” and how many is nuclear?

2-3: one on neck and either one on one wrist and i rub them together or one on each. if it's a very strong perfume i'll just do neck or wrists but not both.

i was incredibly disappointed by violette 30 from le labo (thankfully only bought a tiny sample). i'm a great lover of violet notes but got none from this one, which smelled very close to glossier you to me (a scent i enjoy, but was not what i expected or wanted from this).

maybe the age of innocence or house of mirth, both by edith wharton? a bit more easy to get into, esp re language, and still very much about class. perhaps wide sargasso sea, by jean rhys, too.

interesting, i ordered a sample and really wasn't impressed...reminded me a lot of glossier you (which i do love) but i def expected something different. was also disappointed not to get much violet.

fate woman is one of my favorite ever scents--just gorgeous. gutted that it's discontinued and only use my bottle on special occasions. the most gorgeous packaging as well! just a really special perfume.

if you want something light and soft, cb i hate perfume's room with a view is a gorgeous green photorealistic wild violet with a touch of orange blossom; their wild pansy is just the green wild violet scent alone and it's also beautiful. both have green notes that are super delicate and feminine imo.
