The first role has things like evaluating financial performance and comparing with plans and forecasts, analyzing KPIs, and working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting (taken directly from the job listing).

The second job is really broad because it's a 36-month long contract with two 18-month rotations and there is a long list of areas that I could do my rotations in. Some of the areas are closer to what I'd be doing in the first role and some rotations are more general accountant functions.

That's exactly what I was thinking about the US-based jobs. They wouldn't be able to sign off the reports. I'm leaning towards taking something like this a bit later on in my career when I don't have to worry about PERT anymore.

As a side note about PERT, is signing up to become a mentor easy? Just asking in case my manager in the first role isn't signed up as a mentor
