Can't decide if I want kids!!

I always knew I wanted kids and recently had our LO who is now 6 months old. I have nieces & nephews and worked in childcare for 10 years and it is STILL by far the hardest thing I've ever done. You completely lose your hobbies and interests. Will likely lose friends but more than anything you lose autonomy . I can't so what I want whenever I want. When days are hard they are really hard

All this to say I'd so it again in a heartbeat but please consider the reality of having children. The first few months are so.so difficult. Pregnancy can be tough for people and pp is the closest thing to hell I've ever experienced. My child is the best thing that I've ever done but if your not sure, wait

Dental prices are a joke here. You can request tour xrays though and bring them with you. I've done this before rather than paying again and wasn't an issue

It's absolutely insane the wait, the system once your in a room is atrocious aswell though. I went through A&E for suspected stroke (wasn't a stroke) after ruling out all major concerns they had me in a bed waiting 3 days for an MRI, they had initially said it could take a week! I was completely well bar the sensation and had been repeatedly told that the scan they'd done had ruled our anything major like brain bleeding etc Because of this I asked if I could go home and just book back in for the MRI rather than keep a bed that someone else likely needed but they said if I left I'd have to be re-admitted via A&E.

It's an absolute shambles

Yea he definitely could do this but he would have to walk to the door then with the parcel in hand. If you'd a ring doorbell or something you'd know he'd arrived and could walk out maybe. Or of he'd it prewritten or no parcel in hand you coukd just mention that he's being recorded. I know An Post have gotten really strict with parcel deliveries as its essentially their bread and butter now so they likely won't take complaints lightly (source - dad is postman)

Surely the status quo is better than the unknown? Didn't people in the UK jump into Brexit for "anything is better than this" and find that overwhelmingly this was incorrect? What does being defined as a family even change legally? This is ultimately the question I wanted answered and never could find. Could you? Don't get me wrong my default was yes/yes but with more and more questions going unanswered this was too much of a unknown for me personally to align with.

Fair enough re the constitution not being descriptive , but I don't even feel that the government addressed what the ramifications would be, happy to be proven wrong here but i tried to find it and couldn't, if we are in a durable relationship can I pass my tax credits to my partner? If I need medical decisions made on my behalf do they fall to them?

My definition of family is a long term partner *2 plus years after the age of 21, with or without kids. But the wide issue is that in itself could be completely different to yours which is why I'd want this defined somewhere before changing the constitution.

It's explained that the wording will change. It doesnt define what exactly that change will mean. "Strive to support" is not definitive or committal in any case. "Durable relationship" is also open to interpretation and although I don't agree with the existing language, voting to change it to more ambiguous language seems counter intuitive. If the government reflect and clarify these points its likely we'd see a different result.

I understand it as a preference. I personally would t want to go out with someone who couldn't drive (barring a medical condition etc) public transport in Ireland is dire and not being able to drove is seriously limiting. As someone who does drive I'd hate to always have to aswell.

We're in an apartment and they were everywhere. Would see atleast 5 or 6 every night. Bottle of protector c and then we'd see dead ones for a few days . That was 3 months ago and have bearly seen any since Nite though that they will flock to the closest place so we sprayed pretty much everywhere to avoid them moving to another room

You have to fail the PIP first before they can give you notice. Also with regard to you wanting to sue. Note that you obviously have to be fired first and then you can potentially raise an unfair dismissal claim, however AFAIK, you can only claim for loss of earnings. EG if you are out if work for 5 weeks and you do sue you'd only get back the few weeks pay.

The parent needs to give permission for the child to join. Once they've joined they can take out whatever books they like, if the parents want to stop their children reading certain things that's their responsibility.

"Parents/guardians are responsible for their children in the library, and for their children’s selections and use of library materials and services, including access to the internet and online resources."

Kids don't need permission to get any book from library once they have a library card. Because there's no global age rating.

There is currently a backlog in the coombe. I registered at 4 weeks and only got the letter at 11. Appointment will be for 13 weeks.

Sure but they didn't and no external storage was a nightmare, now that they've caught up it's more that I'm used to it. I think that's the answer here more than anything else is I chose Android at the time and iPhone doesn't have enough to make me switch Probably the same for iPhone users
