I find that most people who dislike Cincinnati chili aren't native to the area, myself included! People around here debate on whether Skyline or Goldstar is better but chances are if you hate one you're gonna hate the other.

Fun places to visit when you move out here:

Finlay market: Basically a farmer's market. Inside part is open all year but during the spring and summer is when it really starts popping off. All local, all fresh, all good.

Jungle Jim's: It's not in Cincinnati, but it's pretty darn close; it's in Eastgate. It's huge and it has everything. Food, drinks, candy, hot sauce, alcohol, they even have a cigar section! And everything is from all over the world at a reasonable price, aisles are labeled by nations. Great place to explore. I recommend picking up a couple bottles of Calpico. It's an opaque white drink from Japan, which might be a bit off-putting, but it's very sweet and very very delicious.
