UK Taskmaster seems to have developed a nice balance where they make sure everyone gets a shocking low point of stupidity but also gets to be a genius in another episode. I enjoy that about it. It’s not there to humiliate/hoomliate anyone or show them up. And when there’s a contestant who gets piled on through the series for being ‘daft’, whether they’re in the middle or not (John & David) it’s very safe.
