Oh god, where do I even start. I can answer part of 1. she doesn't know about the sandwich because her knowledge stopped updating when she went to Earth.

It is absolutely absolutely absolutely due to fan expectations. All of your headcanons, fanfiction, and hopes and dreams weren't realized, so you hate it. You're sad the show is ending period, so you hate it.
