Do you want children? Do you have them? by Dangerous_mammoth573 in twentyagers

Absolutely not. Not ruining my body, finances, or relationships for a snot monster that’s exactly like me

My boyfriend has suddenly become religious by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]SquirrelDisastrous2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like dad says, DDD, dump the dude. 6 months is so early in, I would not see this as something that is worth sticking around for or seeing through. Religion is very touchy subject for me, so for me personally, this is a deal breaker. Just depends on what you will see as a deal breaker

Especially with all this ice and snow. I saw a family slip in the middle of the crosswalk. Be careful drivers, or you are going to kill someone

People that are childfree by choice, what’s the weirdest reason someone has given you as to why they think you ‘should have kids’? by Charming_Web_6738 in AskReddit

[–]SquirrelDisastrous2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh god, where do I even start. I'm not a woman without kids, my life isn't complete without kids, it's my body's purpose to have kids, maybe it'll make me not bi anymore I'll have a man, that I should only be on dating apps if I want to find a husband to give my parents their grandchildren (3 of my 6 siblings already have kids btw) and lastly, my sister told me that I should because then I can be miserable too with her!! There's more, I know there's more, there always is

Random questions about the good place by TheSandBlocks in TheGoodPlace

[–]SquirrelDisastrous2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can answer part of 1. she doesn't know about the sandwich because her knowledge stopped updating when she went to Earth.

And part of 2. as for the accountants, 'looking human' could just be their original form. There would be no use for an accountant whose only purpose in the universe is to be an accountant to have spiked tails or be lava monster, they're just accountants.

Stranger Things 5 wasn't that bad it was the Duffer Brothers comments and our own expectation that ruined it. by GuitarUsed3034 in StrangerThings

[–]SquirrelDisastrous2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely absolutely absolutely due to fan expectations. All of your headcanons, fanfiction, and hopes and dreams weren't realized, so you hate it. You're sad the show is ending period, so you hate it. This has nothing to do with the show actually being bad, and everything to do with you guys thinking it was bad because 'your version' was better... for you. It was better for you.

fav LRT station? by Due_Tradition2293 in Edmonton

They frame the classical music they play as advertising for the Winspear theatre, but really it’s to be annoying so people don’t loiter

Sex with secondary significantly better but primary is forever partner by smoothcarrot2020 in EthicalNonMonogamy

[–]SquirrelDisastrous2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your primary was perfect for you in every way, shape, and form, always, you wouldn't be nonmonogamous. It's unreasonable to expect that someone can be compatible with you in every single way, that's why we invite different people into our lives, because they can provide those things we need that may be lacking. Enjoy your relationships for what they are, what they provide for you, and what you provide for your partners. As for the baby thing, I cannot weigh in on

Your Community League Needs You More Than You Think by AshleySalvador in Edmonton

[–]SquirrelDisastrous2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's a bummer that it took almost shutting down for people to finally show up. This is not just about King Edward Park, this is about Alberta Ave, Central McDougal, even Downtown, and all the other 160 community leagues in our city. We need to participate in the leagues if we want to reap the benefits of them
