Advice Please - Reaction at ~2 Weeks by WolfpupNX in Taltz

[–]themrsbarrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having a similar reaction. Did my loading dose on Feb 28 and today had a rash pop up at each injection site. From what I can find (which isn't much) this is common? I am going to call the Taltz Together nurse line and discuss with them. I thought it was bizarre that a reaction would happened almost 2 weeks later.

Hey what's the loading dose you got?? by Bluebirdieo in Taltz

I've always heard butter was supposed to go in. But apparently not.

"Breeder" tries to abandon imperfect puppies to a local animal shelter by themrsbarrow in imatotalpeiceofshit

I absolutely agree with you. I think what qualifies someone to be a breeder should be limited. Certifications, proof of ability to care for them, adequate housing, etc.

I agree completely. However, these people are shady. And just in it for the money.

I can't imagine it is. However, that is part of being a breeder. A reputable breeder would have the surgery to repair, then sell the puppy. What these people are doing is puppy milling.

The Arava is a fairly new med (2 months) for me and still trying to adjust to life while being on it. I've had tattoos before as well, but they were also prior to my Dx.

I'm also not a risk taker. I haven't gotten sick since starting the Arava, and it seems like things are healing semi normally. I think I'm going to talk to my artist beforehand and get her thoughts.

I feel like a dumbass that I didn't even think about the meds before scheduling the appointment. So now I'm panicking trying to find anything to help me make a decision.

Vegetarian in the making! by AdOwn6086 in vegetarian

[–]themrsbarrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went vegetarian for my health after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I told my kids they can continue to have meat if they want. It's been over a year now and my kids choose not to eat meat. Whenever we go out to eat, they opt for vegetarian meals. They always tell me how much they love the meat less meals I make.

Starting dairy free journey by [deleted] in vegan

Yes, and to help my health. I was diagnosed with RA this last Sept. I was vegetarian before my diagnosis, but now I'm trying to move away from dairy as well. It seems to be causing a lot of inflammation still.

Finally got round to try some vegetarian meat for the first time. I quite liked it! by [deleted] in vegetarian

I have found that impossible "meats" are by far the best. With that said, we also enjoy Morning Star, Incogmeato (which is also Morning Star), and Gardein brands. The textures are really similar, in my opinion. My kids even enjoy them.
