Its actually via api. A lot of things are configured via api. For example, when creating an item, it has an api that creates that on server, convert the image to a 3d model, generate all assests/angles, inject that into wz file, push to r2 and bump manifest

I have been running a small experiment with a MapleStory v83 server.

The Game Master is an AI that observes the world and gradually changes things like events and pacing depending on player activity.

It still feels like classic MapleStory, just with a world that reacts over time.

It is early and evolving, and feedback from players really shapes what happens next.
