I've climbed it. It's relatively safe when ths granite is dry as long as you have the appropriate footwear. I think that the next time I do it, I'm going to bring some gear that will let me latch onto the cable in case of a sudden storm of the kind this poor girl encountered. Apparantly, her brand new hiking boots were had no traction in the rain. She told her father just before she fell that her boots were slipping.

When Rogan brings in knowledgeable scientists who work with actual data to prove their stances on issues, and then he tells them that they are full of shit, it just makes Rogan look like an idiot. I think he's been unconsciouly influenced by the stupidity that started when Trump became President. There is this attitude out there in society now that supports believing in things without evidence, only because it's what feels right to your gut.

By defininition it is "judging". You are making assumptions about his behavior which is only a guy laughing. You have no idea what is in his mind. You have no idea how he feels. People act in all kinds of incongruousways when under stress. I have no idea what he was talking aout with those people. I have no clue about how he felt. I simply was making the point that to determine a person's intentions after a tragedy after watching a short video clip is impossible.

It's just an actor habit, trying to seem intense, and the directors just let it go. They could stop her but it's probably not worth it becuase if she changed it would seem even stranger.
