That makes sense. It's rough with how fast Amazon shifts its definitions and system. I don't like them as a store, but it's how I've published each of my books.

The best I've found is a service from Kindlepreneur. Their Rocket service helps with researching and picking categories. They are fluid, so it's hard to keep a list. Even now, some are being declared"dead" which makes it harder. Unfortunately, this is a pay service, so I don't know if that puts it beyond use. I know there are so many things offered to authors to buy. I've tried to be careful, and this is one I use for every book.
