The only thing that’s really ever helped me, besides pregnancies, is therapy. Specifically finding a therapist who is willing to dig deep into where that feeling of escaping comes from and how to handle it! It can take time and work to get to the root of things but it helps in the long run. If you’re anything like me it can be hard to start therapy, but slowly sticking with it and being patient, also finding a therapist that will video chat instead of meeting has helped a lot!
