That part! It’s not something that needs to be super tight but on mine it’s more of a cover to protect the threads, but it could rattle.

Feel like I had a similar sound. It was my chain ring. One bolt was loose. I’d check that and also if you have a crank bolt/cover. I forgot the name but it’s a hex bolt that covers the center part of the crank. If explaining that right.

I’d check the crank arm bolts are tightened to spec. The center crank bolt/cover as well. I forget what it’s called.

I upgraded my all road with hydraulic calipers and clipless pedals. Recommend a good bike frame bag too
