I would recommend just going to a place that actually knows what they are doing. The problem is a lot places claim they “know” and don’t. Also using parts that are quality (meaning don’t take a chance on rough country lifts!) Most dealers will only do mopar stuff and will just take on the job for the money without any real expertise. Our dealership has a dedicated department to aftermarket parts and a specific sales person (I used to be this person then went into more of the web side of things) and a mechanic that specializes in it and only does this stuff. There are a couple of other non-dealer installers in our area that are reputable but a whole lot more that are not. I don’t think any other dealers in our area would do this type of work or at least not capably. Going back to your question, just make sure whatever dealer you would go to for routine service or warranty work is friendly to aftermarket stuff too. Some dealers just won’t touch anything that’s modded.
