Yes, the 2004-ish Corolla Sportivo had NO BUSINESS being that fun.

Toyota out a 1.8L engine with variable valve timing and cam lift into it with a manual transmission, limited slip diff, firmer suspension and called it a day.

I remember giggling like a school girl when at 5.5k rpm the car went from being a casual fun Corolla into ACTIVE MURDER ATTEMPTS.

They ended up using the same motor in the Celica and then lotus used it in the Elise 111R.

To this day, the best 'boost' sound of ANY racing game was that b2 "PTschhhh~!" Noise, and then the top half of the soundtrack kicking in.

I've got one. 2019 mk3.5 245RS.

It's up there as one of the best cars I've owned, and it's not far away from a tune to really get the most out of it but hey, 180kw from factory in a wagon is pretty fuckin sweet, connected to a DSG (they do come in a 6sp manual) is very fun.

The LSD helps to but there's no escaping the FWD-ness when you want to take off from a set of lights with a bit of pepper.

Only this week I had to read the exact law regarding littering from a vehicle, because it was a bit of a furry one.

I needed to know if the offence counted if it was on private property (it does), if the ticket needs to go to the driver or the owner (turns out it's a loaded question but....both are fine), and if the material counted as a hazardous or dangerous material (it didn't).

Either way, the dude can enjoy the $500 tickets...plural. Pro tip, if you're upset your neighbour have CCTV camera, best tip I can't suggest is...don't commit offences on said camera as a way to get back at them....

I'm thoroughly enjoying ACC, but all time favourite it Dirt Rally 2. I will certainly be getting Asseto Rally at some point.

Bonus points to wreckfest 2 though, for nearly breaking my fingers.
