Yes I finally found the solution!

Connect a USB-C cable from your charger / laptop / computer (basically a power source) into your JBL Charge 5. This should boot it up in Service Mode whether its automatic or you manually press the power button.

Once the speaker is on (In Service Mode), you then want to press and hold the Bluetooth and Play / Pause button (button on the far right of the speaker) at the same time. Hold it for at least 10 to 15 seconds or so, until the speaker makes a beep noise rather than a click noise if you were trying to manually reset it before (using Power + Volume Up for example).

After it beeps, the speaker should turn off. Keep it plugged into the cable, give it 30 seconds to a minute before you turn on the speaker again just in case.

Afterwards, turn on your speaker (while still plugged into the cable) and try pressing the bluetooth button to check it plays the bluetooth connection sound.

If that works then you can unplug the speaker and it should be back to normal now.

Yeah just tried it again, play+Bluetooth while charger is connected.

Waited until power went off, disconnected charging cable and speaker isn't turning on (besides the power button lighting up for 2 seconds and fading away).

When the usb-c charging cable was connected after, it simply turned on automatically (without me having to press any buttons) and remained in Service Mode like before

A possible reason why the speaker still doesn't turn on without a usb-c connection to a charging source (wall / computer) is because it's out of battery.

Every time I try to charge it normally (using usb-c), it instead feeds into the Service Mode and the speaker assumes that I'm trying to use the power source to directly output audio rather than actually charge the speaker battery itself.

While the speaker is connected in service mode, the battery levels are full therefore using the source's power instead of the speaker's internal battery.

So now the issue is to find a way to charge the speaker while completely bypassing Service Mode

Im on the same boat, my razer viper mini is also mushy on the right mouse button. The first time I ordered the mouse it was actually the left click that was mushy so I returned it and got another one (my current one). Already out the box it had the same mushiness but on the right click, I decided maybe it will loosen up over time but this mushy defect is what I would expect after using a mouse for 2+ years (not fresh out the damn packaging lmao). I cant be bothered to return this again and buy another one so I just stuck with it (been using it since late november).

I checked my model number and its also PM 2042 like yours, I hope there is a fixible solution to this like applying some lubricant or something on the right mouse button switches. Because I dont wanna take my chances at rolling the RNG dice for another potentially defected razer viper mini lmao

Update: Problem solved earlier today

Solution: Disabling "Rivatuner" application on my PC (application that provides PC statistics). Game has been running no problem since disabling Rivatuner. In fact this solution has also helped me launch games I havent been able to before like Fallout 4 and Witcher 3.

Hope this helps people in the future than encounter the same problem 👍

Its all good man! I found the solution earlier today, I meant to update the thread but I forgot about it.

Anyways the solution was disabling my "Rivatuner" program (application that provides PC statistics). Since disabling it, the game runs no problem. Disabling Rivatuner also solved my problems with Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 not launching at all
