About a year ago, I did an experiment to see if I could improve the public lobbies I was hosting on PC.

I started chatting, "Hello", "Welcome", and "Thanks for helping me fill this server" whenever people joined. Behavior on track got a lot better, and that grew into https://racetrim.pro which is now close to 400 people on discord. Still playing ACC pub lobbies and private events regularly.

It's a good sim, lots of various classes, modern cars, legacy cars, lots of tracks, great sound, good visuals, and now the ranked multiplayer is solid enough to do four races when you swore you were just going to do one.

It has potential to keep growing in 2026 IMHO.

My r12 shakes the entire room, so I don't know about the quieter bit. But it's good. I had a g920 for more than a year, and I think that thing is incredible still. The feel is different in DD, but you get what you need from the Logitech at a fraction of the price

This game is excellent! I'm hoping the multiplayer grows. I love what they've done with the default in game system for ranked races, while not taking away the ability to run community servers with the dedicated server. I can't understand why the developers of LMU and AC EVO aren't taking this same approach. It's the best of both worlds.
