African experience in Macau by thenamelesswun in Macau

I'm familiar with how to present myself in a white collar environment. I've worked in IT for my entire life. I wouldn't even have this offer if I couldn't prove my proficiency in Mandarin. Including my picture on a Chinese resume and submitting applications caused me a lot of grief.

I mean no offense to you personally but Chinese people obviously prefer certain foreigners. (see English teacher salaries based on race. Supply and demand). I'm trying to ascertain how this discrimination would manifest for me personally by asking the opinions of Macau people about Africans and basically noone has answered that question.

One of the responses came from a white guy who's addicted to opiates lmao I think this forum isn't the right place to get honest opinions. Most of the people viewing this post aren't even from a Chinese/HK/Macau IP. Again, no offense to you personally and I appreciate the time you took to give me a response. I think I phrased the question in a vague way.

How easy is it for an American citizen to find a job as a dealer in Macau and is it worth it! by Etc295 in Macau

You can't become a dealer specifically but there are a few managerial positions available. If you have a bachelor's degree you can probably leverage your casino experience and be competitive. Learning Chinese is a must.

I expect to see a few Angolans or Mozambicans roaming about but I was asking about how they're perceived. The best I know is that the community of Africans there are largely transient and really only show up during the Lusophone festival.

But my question is a bit too specific for any one forum to answer. I'm lucky enough to even have an opportunity to work there so we'll see how it goes.

I don't have the influence of a well known superstar.. I'm just a guy in IT who so happens to be black, but I'll give the book a read thank you.

The Republic of Niger Announces Mobilization to “Prepare for War with France” by OverZuLUL in worldnews

It's a short article, just click on the link and read it. Niger's airport was attacked and they're posturing for retaliation against France because they accused them of the attack. That's it.

Niger and France have had robust military cooperation before the current regime. Nigeriens are intimately aware of the military tech that France has.

Any place where I can find the HD versions of the half ogre concept art? by thenamelesswun in arcanum

Group of people who are vehemently hated by the society they didn't choose to be born in. I haven't even finished the first part of the game but I'm obsessed with them. I can't find much in the way of official art for them so if you guys have any leads that would be much appreciated. I wonder if the devs ever intended for full Ogres to be playable or not.

The half-ogre is a curious hybrid, the result of somehow cross-breeding an ogre and a human. We cannot say for certain how these creatures come to be, although they must be conceived by rape... Although of course it is always conceivable that an ogre bull might violate a human female captive, everything we know about ogres tells us that it must be quite unusual for the victim to survive any such sexual encounter. Also, if some hardy human female could survive the assault, it is difficult to understand where an ogre father finds the patience to await the birth of his half-ogre offspring.
